Brad Plant

NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, Director of Technology and Operations

Brad Plant is the director of technology and operations for the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, a division of NBCUniversal that includes 40 NBC and Telemundo local television stations in 28 markets. In this role, Plant focuses on implementing advanced technologies across large-scale projects, including the design and deployment of IP infrastructure in new TV station builds.

While at the NBC and Telemundo Owned Station Group, Plant has also helped the group manage the development, building, and synchronization of new technologies in state-of-the-art news facilities located in Denver (KDEN), San Antonio (KVDA), McAllen (KTLM),  San Diego (KNSD, KUAN), and Philadelphia (WCAU, WWSI), with the NBCUniversal Boston Media Center set to open in late 2019. Before this, Plant worked for industry vendors for eight years after launching his career in technology and operations as a systems integrator.
