Weather Group, Head of Product and Innovation

Jeremy Jones is the head of product and innovation at Weather Group, the parent company of The Weather Channel television network, Local Now, and Pattern. With its proprietary patented technology, Weather Group is able to deliver multiple streams of local weather information and real-time coverage of severe weather, including live field coverage. Jones is focused on creating best-in-class digital products for users based on strategy, data, and insights for Weather Group's digital business.

He has spent more than 14 years at Weather Group in various roles. As the director of design operations, Jones helped relaunch The Weather Channel television network with new graphics, sounds, and studio sets, reimagining one of America's most trusted brands. He also spent time as the director of television products, helping launch the best-in-class augmented reality (AR) weather product for Weather Group that has now evolved into the award-winning Immersive Mixed Reality explainers that have become viral sensations across the country.

Jones studied design at Atlanta College of Art and earned a degree in graphic arts. He recently graduated from the d. school at Stanford's Design Thinking Bootcamp.
