Michael Senzon

The Weather Channel, Executive Director, Digital Content

Michael Senzon is the executive director of digital content at The Weather Channel. He oversees the Local Now streaming network which provides 220+ local video feeds across the country. He is a video storyteller with a successful track record of leading digital and social video teams at major media organizations.

Prior to The Weather Channel, Senzon served as the head of video for CNBC’s digital and social platforms, with the mandate to set the strategic course for CNBC’s online video operation. He also led the charge of building a strong collaboration with CNBC’s Business Day and Prime teams to make sure CNBC’s multi-platform audience is offered a diverse, innovative, and multi-platform experience. During his tenure, video revenue grew 100% from 2014 to 2017.

Prior to CNBC, Senzon was the supervising producer of original video for CNN Digital where he built and led CNN’s first digital video team. He and his team received numerous awards, including an Emmy nomination for their successful re-imagination of traditional video. They succeeded in growing original video traffic to over 50 million streams in 2013. Before joining CNN, Senzon worked at ABC’s The View and CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman.
