Steve Chung

Fox Television Stations, Chief Digital Officer

Steve Chung is chief digital officer of the Fox Television Stations, one of the nation’s largest owned-and-operated television groups reaching over 37% of the United States. Previously, he was the founder and chief executive officer of Frankly, a publicly traded technology company headquartered in San Francisco and incubated at Stanford's StartX accelerator.

Chung is an expert in digital media and global technology enterprises with both start-up and publicly traded company experiences. After holding an analyst role at Goldman Sachs in New York, he has held senior leadership roles including chief strategy officer of publicly listed CDNetworks, investment director at Silicon Valley venture capital firm BlueRun Ventures, and chief operating officer of the social media company We Heart It. Earlier in his career, Chung was also an executive producer of a weekly evening current events program for Dragon TV.

Chung is an author of two Stanford business school case studies on U.S. market entry of global technology companies, as well as a member of the Board of Directors at NetKAL (Network of Korean American Leaders) and the National Asian Pacific Committee on Aging. He has also previously served on a Stanford University Board of Trustees subcommittee as a graduate representative. Chung graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. from Harvard University, and received his M.B.A. from Stanford University. He speaks fluent English, Korean, and conversational Mandarin Chinese.
