Tony Plosz

NBC10 / WCAU and Telemundo62 / WWSI, VP, Engineering and Operations

Tony Plosz is the vice president of engineering and operations for NBC10 and Telemundo62, NBCUniversal’s owned television stations that serve English and Spanish-speaking audiences in the Philadelphia DMA. In this role, Plosz oversees and manages all IT, engineering, and operations functions for the stations.

Since 2016, Plosz has successfully managed the stations’ move into their new state-of-the-art news facility, the first local TV stations in the U.S. that feature an all IP-based network/infrastructure. Before this, Plosz worked at NetApp as a systems engineer and also at Fox Television Station Group for 11 years as director of broadcast operations and manager of IT, overseeing the group’s engineering and IT operations teams. Prior to Fox, Plosz held other IT roles with increasing responsibility for enterprises that ranged from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies.

Plosz lives in the Philadelphia area.
