NewsTECHForum, TVNewsCheck’s annual conference exploring the intersections of news and technology, will return on Dec. 16 to the New York Hilton with the theme of Empowering the News for Audience & ROI. Now in its 12th year, the event will take the measure of AI’s ever-more penetrating news impact; progress in tackling the steep challenge of reaggregating viable audiences; and the most groundbreaking work in news storytelling, workflows and product development.
Co-located with the Sports Video Group Summit, NewsTECHForum gathers technology, news and digital executives, managers and professionals from linear TV, streaming and FAST, digital/mobile and video-centric news publishing to talk about workflow and business challenges facing their sector of the wider media world.
“NewsTECHForum is the rare conference to convene leaders from a wide spectrum of news media to address how technology is helping them to meet their greatest challenges,” said Michael Depp, chief content officer, NewsCheckMedia LLC and editor of TVNewsCheck. “This year, it will feature some of the industry’s smartest news storytellers, technologists, executives and futurists explaining how they continue to hone their process and practice, along with laying out a vision for a dramatically changing news future.”
