Erik Smith, VP of News Operations and Technology, Fox Television Stations

Erik Smith is the VP of news operations and technology at Fox Television Stations, based in Philadelphia at WTXF-TV, Fox 29. He is responsible for all technical news-related operational systems at WTXF and coordinates news operations and technology projects with the entire Fox Television Stations group. Smith has been with Fox Television Stations since 1997, serving in several roles at WTXF including staff photojournalist/SNG ruck operator, chief photographer and news operations manager. Prior to joining Fox, Smith was a photojournalist at WFMZ-TV in Allentown, PA.  He is a 1996 graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia.
