Sam Singal

Sam Singal serves as group VP of editorial and content at Spectrum Networks. He most recently led the launch of Spectrum News+ national streaming network and is responsible for overseeing the national news team, which includes the Spectrum News DC Bureau, all digital platforms including the Spectrum mobile and CTV apps and websites, as well as Spectrum News NY1 and NY1 Noticias linear news channels in New York City and Spectrum News 1 in Texas. As part of his role, Singal leads the creation of all national specials, directs editorial strategy for the app and facilitates centralized content sharing between newsrooms. 

Singal also previously served as Spectrum Networks’ VP of content and editorial. Prior to his time at Spectrum Networks, he worked as an xecutive Prpoducer for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. He is a veteran TV and digital news producer with decades of experience and has worked in news leadership at NBC for over 20 years, followed by managing editorial, business, and product initiatives for Verizon Media. He holds a M.S. from New York University and a B.A. from Tufts University.
